(More customer reviews)The Beach Bus litter box cover arrived quickly (2 days)! There is so much cool detail in the artwork and the quality of the print is very good. The material is really soft and doesn't feel "cheap". I have no problem taking the cover on and off (as I have to do this with the litter hood anyway). I live in a small apartment, so it works out great because I never have to see the poop box. Instead, I just see a cool design that fits my theme of my living room. Totally recommend this cover!

So you cover your existing litter box with this by first setting the rectangular support board on top and then draping the fabric cover over it. Very simple to set up.
I saw all three designs up close at a pet product expo. I think it is an ingenious concept and definitely one of those things you get to talk about when people see it in your house. I helped someone pick one out as a gift and we decided on the earth toned surf shack as it would match the decor of her brothers living room.
The thing that was really surprising was the quality of the fabric and construction. I can't say I have actually washed one several times yet to see how the printed fabric holds up but I'm confident they will last for many years. I have a lot of experience with sewing and garment construction and this is expensive fabric and quality printing. Even the label was the expensive woven type.
It's always more fun to buy presents for people's pets and they tend to enjoy them more, and this is perfect for anyone who has a cat. It comes flat, the size of the top, with the fabric cover folded around the support board. Easy to wrap it and stick a bow on it.

(More customer reviews)This Extra Giant litter box is fantastic. I have used it, along with the Van Ness Liners Van Ness Extra Giant Drawstring Cat Pan Liners 6-pack and Nature's Logic Ponderosa Pine Cat Litter for 5 cats.
I use one litter box and this is the one. The box dimensions are high enough for our largest cat (22 lbs tabby -- just a really big boy and very long) and our littlest girl (8 lbs). I have always removed the plastic swing door as I have found this to be more of an annoyance for the cats and me (the scooper). The enclosed design of this tall box really lends itself to less tracking and more comfort for all different sizes of cats. It isn't so high that a smaller cat (or even a kitten) can't hop into the box.
The Van Ness liners makes for easy litter box changes and I recommend them as an adjunct product. This box is also very durable and will last years with cleaning and care.

(More customer reviews)I had a cat already and I adopted 2 ferrel cats who had never used a litter box. Fortunately, they went right to them without hesitation. They did, however, get quite carried away with the slinging of litter when they dug. I wanted to get a litter box that they would feel comfortale in going in, and not be afraid. I ordered 2 of this one because it was large and you could see through the top. I was disappointed when the litter boxes came with opaque tops rather than the advertized translucent top. I tried it, and the cats didn't mind, so I kept them. Now I don't have to clean piles of litter up from around the boxes.

PERMA-lid & BAG-it Combo Waste Receptacle Replacement System for Littermaid Litter Box Review

(More customer reviews)The best part about this BAG-It kit is the little ring thing that fits inside the receptacle. It's pictured in black here, although mine is a clear plexi-glass type material. I don't know if you can see in the photo, but it's flat and maybe half an inch wide and sits in the little indentation in the top of receptacles. You just take it out, put a plastic bag through the middle and up over the ring and set it into the top of the plastic receptacle.I use old plastic grocery bags and they work fine. When the bag is full, just lift the bag and ring out, toss the bag and put in a new one. You never have to replace those flimsy receptacles again!
The cover thing replaces the flimsy plastic receptacle covers. I put mine under the lid because it looks better that way. The two little white plastic covers, cover the holes so it's one solid piece on the lid.
I've been using this for about a week and it works great. Finally a way around replacing the costly receptacles that will pay for itself in about a month. And it's a good way to recycle plastic grocery bags. Two thumbs up for this handy solution.

Cp - 7 Translucent Cat Pan With Hood Enclosure - Giant Review

(More customer reviews)We recently adopted a rescue kitten and while our other cat would go in, use the litter box, and get out, the new kitten would go in, stay in for a ridiculously large amount of time, bumping and thumping around, and then come out eventually. Trying to see what she was up to was difficult to impossible, since the only translucent part of a regular litter pan is the swinging door.
With this litter box, the cats inside have a LOT more light inside. It's excellent translucence all around makes it wonderfully easy to tell whether or not it's been scooped, and whether or not we need to add more litter to it! HaHaHa! This is INGENIOUS!
So we figured out that the new little rescue kitten would go in and run around in the fresh litter, bumping and thumping her little body on the walls. Then she lays down and sleeps! Then she plays "let's digger around on all four walls cuz we can"! Not digging in the litter, but scratching down all the walls from ceiling to floor! It's hilarious! And instead of being ambushed by each other, they can now tell when the other is lying in wait ready to attack when they step out of the box. I will DEFINITELY be ordering another one! AWESOME!!!

Pet Studio Cat Litter Box Cabinet Mahogany Storage Furniture Review

(More customer reviews)I found this cabinet to be very easy to assemble, and it looks great (compared to a stinky old litter box!). There's room for a medium-sized litter pan with a tall litter-guard underneath; you'll need to measure carefully and make sure there's enough headroom if you want to use something fancy. The drawer holds accessories for litter cleaning, but can only be opened if the main doors are open, so using it for non-litter box items isn't convenient. Two of my three cats have taken to it with no fuss, but my very large Norwegian Forest Cat doesn't like being in the confined space so it's taking longer for him to adapt. So far (it's been a week) my cats are still entering the cabinet from the front, so I'm leaving one door ajar. Hopefully all three will use the side entrance once they've become used to the cabinet.
The only reason I've given four stars instead of five is because I wish there were an option to have the side entrance on the other side. I've had to redecorate to accommodate the right-sided opening - it would have been much more convenient with the entrance on the left side. And it would have been nice if there were rollers to roll the litter pan in and out as another reviewer mentions.

LitterMaid Cat Privacy Tent Review

(More customer reviews)I agree completely with the other reviewers regarding the flimsy quality of the support posts for the tent. In addition, our zipper broke, and as the tent itself is plastic there was no easy way to simply replace the zipper without tearing up the tent itself.
I do disagree with those who say the tent is useless. Once you've gotten a feel for how much litter is "too much", you rarely have to actually see into the tent itself for anything other than adding litter. The only problems I've ever encountered were that our cat had decided to "prefer" one side over the other, resulting in a mountain of litter in one half of the box that the motor for the scoop just couldn't handle. After 3 or 4 retries, it just stops and waits for the next cycle. Such problems are easily resolved by taking our "old-fashoned" litter scoop and shoving the litter around, then switching the unit off and on again and seeing if the rake makes it through the cycle. None of this is impaired by the presence of the tent. Adding litter is a bit of a pain - it would help if there was a snapping flap of some sort on the top.
Meanwhile, the tent really does signifigantly improve the odor situation. But the most important thing, at least for our cat, is that without the tent she tends to ignore the ramp and jump out of the box directly, leading to litter all over the vicinity. The tent prevents this, and the carpeted ramp does a pretty good job of preventing litter from going everywhere.
We haven't found a good replacement for the tent yet, and I'm loathe to spend 30 bucks for such poor quality. But as I noted in my title, this is not a review of the actual littermaid system - We got ours almost 3 years ago and (tent issues aside) it's worked great! I'd hate to go back to scooping. One recomendation - use a plastic grocery store bag as a liner for the little plastic container, then just throw away the liner and stop buying new containers!

ok, so they are expensive, but after trying every little box know to human kind, this was the last resort ... getting the kitties adjusted to a new environment has been quite a challenge! with that said, I am so happy to say that the investment paid off and paid off immediately! as soon as i set it up downstairs, macho and lover investigated and quickly began do "do their business". even lover's chunky and finiky butt fit inside and macho has enough room to do his litter dance ;-) we didn't even have to show them that there was another hidden litter box upstairs ... they found it all on their own, yay! i mean ... h e l l o ... w o n d e r f u l ... we couldn't be happier!!!!
as to a few reviewers saying that the plastic is thin and top is hard to get on ... it's a kitty litter box, ya know ... and all nice things should be handled with care ... i had no problems setting it up twice [i bought 2] ... and as for the plant on top, just search for the inner florist in you and all will be well! the plant looks just like a peace palm ... so stylee!

so, tell one ... tell all that this is the best litter box on the planet for all kitties even the finiky ones!

(More customer reviews)First, crystal litter is the best I've used. All other litters track more and create much more dust. Note that I have tried all litter incuding Worlds best cat litter ect. So, I was looking for an automatic litter box that could use crystal litter. Since I had a gift certificate, I figured I would try this box. After two months I am still not disappointed. The engineering and design are excellent. You replace the entire bottom of the litter box, which is made out of cardboard, every time you change the litter. No mess or cleaning of the mechanism necessary. I know that there have been complaints about soggy cartridges. Well, my cartidges have a thin sheet of plastic on the bottom (they all do now). This has the dual effect of helping the mechanism slide and preventing my cat, who is a digger, from tearing through the bottom of the litter box. My cat loves to drink, pee and dig and I have not had any soggy litter box problem. In addition, the rake goes in both directions which insures an even spread of litter.
Although the cartidges my be pricey, I feel they are well worth it. I change a cartidge every two weeks. In addition, I got the hood which fits great and helps reduce litter spreading.

I decided to give them another try- the item looked improved from the original big square version of their litter cover. The plastic is cheap and breaks easily. The material is flimsy. My cat peed on it and I washed it, but didn't dry it- it shrunk!!! and wouldn't fit in the frame anymore- I had to throw the whole thing out after MUCH MUCH frustration trying to get the thing back together. Definitely don't waste your money on ANY Littermaid products.

(More customer reviews)These boxes are large enough to accommodate our two big kitties, but nor so large that the boxes take up too much room. They are high enough so as to not make the cats feel cramped while inside and the openings are more than adequate. The odors are much more reduced than with the open boxes we had before. The cats adapted to the covered boxes with no problems at all. I would purchase these again and recommend them to anyone who asked. The covers snap on and take a bit more effort with daily cleaning, but well worth the little extra effort.

The box has a total of six perforated holes that you can choose to open. Two perforated holes on each side panels and two perforated holes on the front panel. The box can fit to almost anywhere. if you have a narrow space, you can cut the opening on the front or the side panels. The mess could not escaped when my cats digs and scratched the litter granules. In addition, I put a scratch pad on the pathway where it trapped the litter from my cat paws as my cat exited from the box. My cat also used it as a scratching pad. The shredded cardboard from the scratch pad stays inside the box as well so I hardly cleaned up my floor. This box is very economical compare to other litter box I've had. Everything is hidden; the litter pan and the mat which is the scratch pad. Great Product.
