(More customer reviews)Since there was no indication what size this was I worried whether it would be the right size. However the inside dimensions are just slightly larger than 11 1/2 x 8 x 1. So I can put my papers in, have them handy and have a hard surface to write on. I was very pleased. I cannot find these in any store and the one I had been using was broken so this was great. I really appreciate it. I bought three incase I can't find them again for awhile. I am finding the clasp doesn't work real great, but it is a minor inconvenience.

PERMA-lid & BAG-it Combo Waste Receptacle Replacement System for Littermaid Litter Box Review

(More customer reviews)The best part about this BAG-It kit is the little ring thing that fits inside the receptacle. It's pictured in black here, although mine is a clear plexi-glass type material. I don't know if you can see in the photo, but it's flat and maybe half an inch wide and sits in the little indentation in the top of receptacles. You just take it out, put a plastic bag through the middle and up over the ring and set it into the top of the plastic receptacle.I use old plastic grocery bags and they work fine. When the bag is full, just lift the bag and ring out, toss the bag and put in a new one. You never have to replace those flimsy receptacles again!
The cover thing replaces the flimsy plastic receptacle covers. I put mine under the lid because it looks better that way. The two little white plastic covers, cover the holes so it's one solid piece on the lid.
I've been using this for about a week and it works great. Finally a way around replacing the costly receptacles that will pay for itself in about a month. And it's a good way to recycle plastic grocery bags. Two thumbs up for this handy solution.

(More customer reviews)We recently adopted a rescue kitten and while our other cat would go in, use the litter box, and get out, the new kitten would go in, stay in for a ridiculously large amount of time, bumping and thumping around, and then come out eventually. Trying to see what she was up to was difficult to impossible, since the only translucent part of a regular litter pan is the swinging door.
With this litter box, the cats inside have a LOT more light inside. It's excellent translucence all around makes it wonderfully easy to tell whether or not it's been scooped, and whether or not we need to add more litter to it! HaHaHa! This is INGENIOUS!
So we figured out that the new little rescue kitten would go in and run around in the fresh litter, bumping and thumping her little body on the walls. Then she lays down and sleeps! Then she plays "let's digger around on all four walls cuz we can"! Not digging in the litter, but scratching down all the walls from ceiling to floor! It's hilarious! And instead of being ambushed by each other, they can now tell when the other is lying in wait ready to attack when they step out of the box. I will DEFINITELY be ordering another one! AWESOME!!!

Booda Dome Cleanstep Cat Box Review

(More customer reviews)Life in my 1B/1B apartment is much better since we got this litter box. Previously, I had an uncovered, rectangular, jumbo-sized box. (It was jumbo-sized to keep my two cats from "tossing" litter out as they were digging and from spraying the wall since they like to get as close to the back of the box as possible.) I hated looking at the litter all the time and stepping on scattered litter when I got out of the shower. I was worried that a covered box would be too small, but after reading the reviews, decided to give this a try.
Wow, am I glad I did! This box does it all... between the steps (which catch most) and a litter mat underneath to catch any extra, I barely have any scattered litter on my bathroom floor now. The box also helps contain the smell much better and it's wonderful that I (and my guests!) don't have to see what's inside! As an added bonus, it helps muffle the sound of the cats digging/scratching at night which used to wake me up. And the pearl color helps the box blend in between the tub and the toilet.
I highly recommend the Booda Clean Step for anyone who doesn't have a good way to hide the litter box!
