(More customer reviews)The oak leaf design sticks out maybe as much as a half-inch from the body of the screen and are somewhat sharp (they are on the outside of the screen away from the fire). I could imagine my 1.5 yr old running into it and blinding herself, so I returned it and bought the plain one with no leaf pattern.
