A larger generator would have done the same thing (thus not needing the GenTran Parallel Power Kit), but since the smaller Honda's are much easier for me to lift and carry from place to place the larger generator was impractical. The GenTran Parallel Power Kit was just the ticket for my application!

The GenTran parallel power kit for RV applications can link together two Honda EU2000i generators to double your power; some loads require more power than just one generator can deliver, so this patent-pending, Honda-certified accessory conveniently helps you run larger loads or more loads at the same time. (More customer reviews)It is what it is. I had no problems installing it. It would have been great if the item came with a door already attached, but you can always buy it if you think you need it. The door option is a little pricey. Or you can just put tape over the connector to keep out the wasps and spiders and such. This unit sits behind some bushes, but if it were out in the open, I would probably paint the thing to have it blend in with the house. It is big, but it has to be to have enough room for the large guage wires to be connected.
