(More customer reviews)I have been a Kittywalk fan in the past, previously purchased both the gazebo and carousel. Those are both very well designed but caution, the solid fabric on top deteriorates after much sun exposure. Hence, the recent purchase of the penthouse...I just completed assembling it and was very disappointed with the design and quality. Not nearly as well designed...you will need your thinking cap on to assemble it safely for your cat. The mesh material of the walls and floor is rather thin nylon. The instructions did not include how to attach the door(s?). The "latches" are plastic straps with metal twist type closures that don't operate smoothly and don't look as if they will last long. Fortunately I had additional tent tie rope to complete the assembly since the ties included came up short. Use caution when attaching the hammocks to the frame, they will need to be relocated and very carefully tied. The structure will need to be secured in addition to the braces and bungee cords supplied. The cords tend to pull the braces out of place.
All this aside, I'm sure my cat will love it...he is VERY happy using his kitty houses. (I will be keeping a close eye on him in this until I know all is secure)
